I'm in a class this semester called " Latin American Social Change and Revolution" and thoroughly read this book within the frame of using it in class discussions. I read the paperback edition. I did enjoy the various perspectives and approaches multiple authors brought to the surface regarding what led to the coup and the effects it had on various groups within the Guatemalan population.
